First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany

The Program Coordinating Council promotes communication and cooperation among the councils, committees, and affiliated groups of our congregation. It serves as the clearing house for scheduling major events; and it provides a regular forum for committees to report their activities, discuss and develop new ideas, and address problems and issues that span the work of more than one committee. In so doing, the council helps keep the shared goals and common purpose of our many and diverse committees clearly in focus.

While representatives from all committees and councils are welcome at meetings, those committees whose goals span the work of several others, such as Public Relations, Membership and Religious Services are particularly encouraged to use PCC as a forum for the discussion of issues affecting a broad spectrum of the congregation. The minister, the church administrator, and the Director of Religious Education regularly attend meetings

The council generally meets monthly during the church year and is chaired by the vice president of the congregation.
