Happy Summer!

Summer Session is our multi-age, more casual Sunday morning programming. We meet in the upstairs air-conditioned classrooms.  Summer is a chance for us to do messy art projects, engage in free play and participate in workshops that members of the congregation present. The activities are geared for children in Pre-K through 5th grade. Older children and youth are welcome to come help out or attend the service with their families. The nursery/toddler room is staffed by young adults from our congregation in the summer. We start shortly before 10:00 and end when the service is over.

Current Religious Education volunteers and parents help each week. There is no registration for Summer Session and visitors are always welcome. Parents or caretakers are welcome to stay for all or part of the session.

Are you new to us this summer? We’re glad to have you! Help me get you and your child off to a good start. Fill out a “blue card” at the Welcome Table in the lobby or give me your contact info at dre@albanyuu.org or 463-7135 and I’ll include you in my weekly email to families. After three or four visits this fall as a guest, please register your child in the program. Here’s the link to the registration form. Wavers for the fee are available.
